Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to deliver innovative planning and design solutions for public-sector clients' water treatment, distribution, and storage infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership and client development in water and wastewater engineering, construction management, civil infrastructure design, and permitting.
  • Develop and implement long-term planning programs, condition surveys, asset management programs, and design of water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate less experienced staff to deliver work products on time and within budget.
  • Attend and present at client and public meetings to communicate project developments and results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT).
  • 4 to 8 years of related engineering experience in water and wastewater projects.
  • Background or strong academic training in water and wastewater planning, design, system hydraulics, and wetlands permitting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise letters, memoranda, technical reports, proposals, and figures.
  • Ability to collect field data and measurements, including roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets, and perform asset inspections.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcGIS/Pro.
