Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sleep Centers. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a critical role in conducting diagnostic sleep studies and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies to identify sleep disorders.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for testing, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures.
  • Monitor patients throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
  • Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies to healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist from the Tennessee Polysomnography Professional Standards Committee.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
