This role involves working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the needs of patients and determining suitable interventions based on clinical expertise and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to patient inquiries and addresses concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborates with healthcare providers regarding patient care matters as necessary.
  • Manages medication orders through the E-Scribe system within the electronic medical record.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of patient interactions in their electronic health records.
  • Oversees the fax communications and ensures timely processing of all documents.
  • Provides patient education based on provider directives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A valid Registered Nursing License in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in oncology nursing and/or telephone triage is preferred.
