We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant III Float Pool to join our team at University Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced Medical Assistant duties, including coordination of patient care and navigation.
- Manage patient flow and facilitate unit operations.
- Independently perform front desk duties, including scheduling patients and collecting payor information.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
- 3+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification within 6 months.
This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently, as well as pushing, pulling, and grasping constantly. Travel requirements are minimal, at 10%.
