At UniFirst, we're seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Loader/Unloader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the timely flow of incoming and outgoing clean and soiled garments and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload clean products from transport shuttles and stage them for accurate delivery
- Remove soiled and clean return products from route trucks and sort them by class and material
- Load soiled products onto transport shuttles for return to the plant and load garments and additional facility service products onto trucks for route deliveries
- Monitor facility service inventory levels and notify management of shortages
- Perform light janitorial duties, including sweeping, emptying trash, picking up litter, and cleaning the warehouse
- Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate machinery
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
