Job Summary

Marietta Eye Clinic is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Assistant to join our clinical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians and optometrists in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and optometrists with clinical procedures, including administering eye drops and oral medications, and inserting and removing contacts.
  • Perform basic diagnostic tests accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient confidence and satisfaction.
  • Triage patients appropriately based on appointment time and acuity of problem, preparing patients for doctor visits and maintaining a smooth and efficient clinic flow.
  • Adhere to all administrative and clinical practice policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and quality care.
  • Provide education to patients before and after procedures, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of MEC Training Program preferred.
  • Experience and certification in ophthalmic assisting or related field a plus.
