About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MEP Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. As a Construction Manager with over 15 years of exceptional service to our clients, we focus primarily in the Life Science construction market with a strong backlog over the next 5 years. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in MEP coordination, scheduling, and be organized. The candidate must also possess a deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise MEP trades on construction projects
  • Develop and maintain MEP schedules and ensure they are on track
  • Ensure all MEP installations meet the required codes and standards
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all MEP systems
  • Develop and implement quality control measures for MEP systems
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site
  • Manage and mentor junior MEP staff

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in MEP coordination, scheduling, and oversight.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction management preferred
  • Deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Understanding of safety protocols and regulations
