**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Asset Utilization Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated fleet of drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform supervisory duties, including coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Dispatch drivers based on available equipment and load criteria.
  • Route drivers to specific destinations according to company policies.
  • Balance time-off requests with operational needs to move freight.
  • Communicate with drivers to optimize productivity and reduce turnover.
  • Monitor driver logbook hours to comply with DOT regulations.
  • Track loads from dispatch to delivery and resolve service issues.
  • Maintain positive working relationships and travel as needed.

**Requirements**

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Able to solve problems and make decisions independently.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in using computers and software programs.
  • Ability to read, write, talk, and hear, and lift up to 10 pounds.

**Education and Experience**

Bachelor's degree or three to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
