Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our team at Leidos. As a technical lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 10+ developers in the development of JAVA full stack web applications
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
  • Directly guide a team of 10+ developers
  • Monitor team performance and resolve impediments
  • Develop and implement solutions for driving improvement
  • Coordinate schedule execution and plan program-wide software/architecture releases
  • Lead Program Increment (PI) Planning from a technical aspect
  • Participate in the design and creation of scalable software
  • Maintain application posture for code coverage and ensure the CM process defined is working for the team
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design and define needs for build APIs
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Write technical documentation and keep standard software document up to date

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Material UI, JAVA, and other relevant technologies
  • Experience with AWS Cloud, EKS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and other relevant tools
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with DevOps frameworks and continuous integration, configuration management
  • Entity Framework or similar ORM and enterprise service bus (ESB) management
  • Technical writing and past intelligence systems experience
  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS, biometric, microservices, user experience, containerization, CI/CD, and cloud certification
  • Active CBP BI, CBP experience, and experience in mobile app development, microservices, biometric, containerization, and Google Cloud
