**Job Summary**
Lands' End is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our product development process as a Merchant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving category growth through strategic planning, financial management, and collaboration with cross-functional partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with the company's vision and initiatives, partnering with critical cross-functional partners.
- Develop key concepts, key items, promotional strategies, and assortments that are brand-right and aligned with the Lands' End customer.
- Lead teams and transform/develop talent, demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities and proven relationship-building skills.
- Analyze market trends, translate them into profitable growth, and make recommendations that align with the brand.
- Collaborate with Design, Creative, Quality, and Inventory teams to drive product content, quality, and fit.
- Develop and execute financial plans, manage bottom-line profit and loss, and evaluate existing styles.
**Requirements**
- 5-10 years of buying or merchandising experience in a catalog, specialty, or department store environment.
- 5-10 years of product development experience in apparel.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different communication styles.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage projects from concept to completion within time constraints.
- Must be organized and self-motivated, with a proven ability to take calculated business risks.
**Compensation and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $70,400 - $129,200, based on numerous factors including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location, and business or organizational needs. This position may also be eligible for annual merit increase, bonus, and/or incentive compensation, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health, dental, vision, and disability benefits.
