Job Title: Travel Radiology Technician

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to work in a dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

  • Proven 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician
  • Must possess independent decision-making skills
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees

Responsibilities:

  • Observe cardiac rhythm of patients on monitor
  • Run and post rhythm stripes at designated intervals
  • Interpret rhythms and validate computer readout
  • Check and verify lead placement on patients
  • Compare posted strip to previous strip and notify nursing staff of changes
  • Notify nursing staff of any change in cardiac rhythm
  • Test equipment for proper working order
  • Maintain work area clean and orderly
