Puget Sound Energy is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Metering Engineering team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for electric metering systems and revenue billing meter data.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Metering Engineer to perform First Article Testing of new meters, lead technical reviews of customer interconnection studies and new customer construction, and provide field support for Operations including large power meter testing.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide professional engineering services and support in the planning, construction, operation, maintenance, and analysis of PSE facilities and assets. You will schedule and coordinate major segments of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives, review design and documentation to ensure compliance with PSE expectations, and interpret and apply existing guidelines and engineering principles, practices, and theories toward the completion of assignments involving a substantial degree of complexity.

You will also support the continued development of PSE's engineering workforce by sharing knowledge with others and upholding safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

This job requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, practices, and theories, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree or PE license in electrical, mechanical, civil, or other appropriate engineering field, with substantial experience in planning, design, specification preparation, technical field work, project cost estimating and scheduling.

The estimated salary for this position is $88,000 - $146,500 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. PSE offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits such as medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, and a 401(k) investment option.
