Embroidery Technician

We are seeking a skilled Embroidery Attendant to join our team at Phelps Uniform Specialists. As an Embroidery Attendant, you will be responsible for applying graphics, logos, and designs to garments using embroidery machines.

1. Select the appropriate design for each garment based on the label information.
2. Load the design and prepare the garments for embroidery.
3. Position the garment correctly on the embroidery machine to ensure accurate placement of designs.
4. Inspect the quality of the products throughout the process to guarantee high-quality results.
5. Place completed products in the designated area for further processing.
6. Perform other production duties as needed.

1. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
2. Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.
3. Reliability and willingness to work scheduled shifts (Monday-Friday, 5am-1:30pm).
4. High attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
5. Willingness to be a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.

This role is based in a production facility with industrial laundry equipment, including heavy machinery, steam tunnels, washers, and dryers. The work environment can be physically demanding, with long periods of standing, bending, and reaching. The facility is not climate-controlled, and temperatures may fluctuate significantly. Exposure to moisture and air circulation is also present.
