Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in our mission by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create high-quality images of the body.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI exams, explain procedures, and administer contrast when necessary.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and ensure technical quality of the scan.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, and perform quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment.
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Provide safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, and adhere to all Memorial Hermann policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Breast MRI experience.
