Lead Mission Planning and Scheduling Systems Architect

Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector, Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD), is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer for the role of Mission Planning and Scheduling Thread Lead for a Mission Integration program.

This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, cutting-edge programs and new mission areas. You will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into lower-level specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer requirements into system specifications
  • Evaluate system architectures and make recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with ground system software teams to ensure their content meets system requirements
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical reports and presentations

Candidates must have US Citizenship and current or active Top Secret/SCI Clearance at time of application. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with at least 5 years of applicable experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, is required. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
