Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and make recommendations for care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college with a current valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas.
  • BLS and ACLS certification, with the ability to maintain current certification.
  • Ability to recognize potential lethal cardiac rhythms and understand treatment options.
  • Previous hospital experience, preferably in Ortho/Neuro, although beginning practitioners will be considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak, read, and write grammatically correct English.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods, walk or run medium distances, climb stairs, and use elevators.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move relatively lightweight supplies and equipment.
