We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at National Park Medical Center. As a Cardiac Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and make recommendations for care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited college with a current valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas.
- BLS and ACLS certification, with the ability to maintain current certification.
- Ability to recognize potential lethal cardiac rhythms and understand treatment options.
- Previous hospital experience, preferably in Ortho/Neuro, although beginning practitioners will be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak, read, and write grammatically correct English.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods, walk or run medium distances, climb stairs, and use elevators.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move relatively lightweight supplies and equipment.
