We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at UTMB Health.
Responsibilities:
* Provide supervisory and advanced technical skills in the performance of patient examinations and testing in the Non-invasive cardiac laboratory.
* Ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses through expertise in cardiac ultrasound technology.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
* High School or equivalent and certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent.
* Satisfactory completion of a formal cardiac sonographer training program or equivalent.
* Graduate from a diagnostic ultrasound training program with 1 full additional year of full-time clinical experience in a dedicated echocardiography laboratory.
* Two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences and two years experience in a dedicated echocardiography laboratory.
