Job Title: Police Officer

Join the City of Tracy Police Department as a Police Officer and be part of a team dedicated to serving and protecting our community.

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing excellent customer service to the public. You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to build trust and strengthen relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence to solve cases
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with the public in a professional and respectful manner
  • Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid California driver's license required
  • Basic P.O.S.T. certificate required
  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
