Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide care to our Elder residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. The core goal of this role is to assist the Elders in promoting a high quality of life and positive Elder lifestyle. Key responsibilities include recognizing and responding to the needs of Elders, promoting autonomy, reporting changes in condition, maintaining occupied and unoccupied beds, and assisting with personal care functions.

Essential Functions

1. Recognize and respond to the needs of Elders and assure their safety at-all-times
2. Promote autonomy of Elder's in decision-making
3. Report changes in the Elder's condition to the RN's per #change in condition# protocols
4. Maintain occupied and unoccupied beds, to include changing bed linens, when necessary
5. Assist moving, positioning and transporting Elders into/from beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
6. Assist Elders with personal care functions, including: bathing, dressing, and grooming, dental and mouth care, hair and nail care, bowel and/or bladder care and as needed personal hygiene

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) unrestricted license in the state of Wyoming, a High School Diploma or GED equivalency, and BLS Certification. You should also be able to stand, squat, kneel, push and pull, and lift 30 lbs. In addition, you must be able to interact with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.

$45,000 - $55,000 per year
