Seasonal Music Educator
The University of Miami's Frost School of Music is in search of Seasonal Music Educators to support the Frost Summer Experience 2024, a summer program designed to promote musical discovery and development.
The ideal candidate should possess a dedication to teaching and a sincere desire to motivate students to explore and value the musical arts, with proven experience in teaching at the secondary or collegiate levels, alongside the creativity to design captivating educational experiences that accommodate diverse learning preferences and capabilities.
The responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Craft and implement stimulating lesson plans and activities as directed by your assigned Program Coordinator.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive educational atmosphere where students feel empowered to inquire, share perspectives, and unleash their creativity.
- Adhere to University safety protocols and procedures to guarantee the safety and well-being of students.
- Collaborate with fellow Educators and Program Coordinators to ensure a cohesive and enriching experience for all participants.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a secondary or collegiate Music Instructor
- Appropriate State of Florida certification (DCF training)
