Job Title: Audit Associate

Sensiba LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and communicative Audit Associate to join our integrated team. As a key member of our audit team, you will play a crucial role in the execution of audit engagements for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of audit engagements, including conducting risk assessments and developing audit programs.
  • Prepare and organize audit workpapers, supporting documentation, and financial statements in accordance with firm standards and audit methodologies.
  • Execute audit procedures in accordance with audit plans and applicable auditing standards, including testing of internal controls and substantive testing.
  • Document audit findings, exceptions, and recommendations in clear and concise working papers, and discuss findings with senior team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information and address client concerns or questions.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's program with an emphasis in accounting.
  • Educational Requirements (150 semester/225 quarter units) for California CPA licensure eligibility completed prior to September 2025.
  • Accounting GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
