Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Construction Management courses in our Computing and Business Technology Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach core introductory and general education courses in Construction Management.
  • Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum that aligns with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Maintain currency in academic discipline and pedagogy by engaging in professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or certification in Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Two years of college teaching experience in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and teach both theoretical and practical concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in a related Computer Aided Design/Construction area or skill.
  • Ability to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multi-cultural workplace.
