Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Survey Technician to join our team in Youngsville, Raleigh, or Charlotte office. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for assisting with survey designs, performing basic survey computations, and using CAD and other survey/engineering software for basic survey drawing preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of survey drawings
  • Perform basic survey computations
  • Use CAD and other survey/engineering software for basic survey drawing preparation
  • Assist with survey field operations as needed, including construction staking and operating survey instruments

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in Land Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Knowledge and skills in CAD and survey software (i.e. AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively apply survey and engineering concepts
  • Good time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced math skills
  • Strong attention to detail
