RN Assessor

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Onsite Assessor for Wellcove, you will be responsible for conducting Long Term Care Insurance eligibility assessments in the comfort of the client's home or facility. These assessments are non-medical, observational, and require you to document client demographics, physician information, and functional and cognitive levels of independence.

The assessment involves administering a cognitive screening and documenting the client's ability to complete Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) tasks. You will need to wear a mask and maintain social distancing during the assessment, and may be required to follow additional COVID-19 protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Long Term Care Insurance eligibility assessments in the client's home or facility
• Document client demographics, physician information, and functional and cognitive levels of independence
• Administer a cognitive screening and document the client's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks
• Wear a mask and maintain social distancing during the assessment
• Follow additional COVID-19 protocols as required

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered RN licensure in the state of practice
• Must have or be willing to obtain a professional liability insurance policy
• Must have a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle and/or public transportation
• Minimum of 2 years of home health experience or nursing in an equivalent area of practice serving geriatric clients
• Must have your own computer/tablet and internet access
