Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented GI Technician to join our team. As a GI Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with the care of patients undergoing GI/endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of endoscopy equipment and supplies
- Contribute to the cleaning and disinfection of GI treatment rooms between procedures
- Prepare rooms for the next case and ensure a smooth workflow
- Collaborate with the GI/Endoscopy Nurse to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred)
- One-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
