Job Title: HR Assistant Bilingual in Spanish

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual HR Assistant to join our team at Vaco. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR department with a wide range of tasks, including HRIS data entry, report running, and document translation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform HRIS data entry and run reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from employees and managers relative to standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes.
  • Translate documents into Spanish for HR and operations management teams.
  • Provide verbal translation support to HR and operations management teams.
  • Assist with employee relations investigations, handling confidential information with utmost care.
  • Support the recruitment process, ensuring new hire I-9 compliance, and maintaining current I9s.
  • Complete termination paperwork and conduct or assist with exit interviews.
  • Audit and submit invoices for various vendors.
  • Prepare new hire orientation packets and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Assist with benefits administration, collecting missing benefit information, and answering basic employee questions.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Perform support functions for the HR department as needed, including filing, faxing, copying, mailing, ordering supplies, and other related duties.
  • Assist HR teams with various research projects and/or special projects.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish, verbal and written.
  • Must have 2 years' experience in a comparable role, such as office administration or HR administration.
  • Available to work overtime as needed.
