Respiratory Care Specialist

This position plays a critical role in providing respiratory care to patients of all age groups, who are diagnosed with cardio-pulmonary dysfunction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up various types of equipment to administer prescribed doses of medicinal gases and aerosolized drugs.
Key Responsibilities:- Administering oxygen delivery, mechanical ventilator management, diagnostic procedures, and troubleshooting of respiratory therapy equipment.
- Initiating patients on invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, weaning patients from mechanical ventilation, and administering inhaled medications according to institutional guidelines.
- Providing services to analyze blood specimens for blood gases, glucose, and electrolytes in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
- An Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
- Licensed by the state of Massachusetts to provide respiratory care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- One year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- BLS certification.
The estimated salary for this role is $62,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
