Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant with Soliant, you will collaborate with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to execute treatment plans and interventions aimed at addressing speech, language, and communication goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in conducting assessments and evaluations to acquire pertinent information about students' speech and language capabilities.
  • Administer individual or group therapy sessions to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Implement diverse therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance speech production, articulation, language comprehension, and expressive language skills.
  • Assist students in developing and refining social communication skills.
  • Educate students and their families on strategies and techniques to enhance communication beyond therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
