Job Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team for a 13-week assignment in New London, MN.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitation services to patients in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitation services to patients in a hospital setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient information
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Valid OTA license
  • BLS certification
  • One to three years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
