We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa as a Wound Ostomy Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex wound care needs and ostomy management.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the healthcare team to define and communicate the expected patterns of care for patients with wound and ostomy needs.
- Provide leadership for education and research programs to support the advancement of wound and ostomy care and improve patient outcomes.
- Serve as a resource, leader, and role model for wound and ostomy care, and function as a liaison with the community, other healthcare professionals, and other disciplines regarding areas of wound and ostomy care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One or more years of nursing practice experience, with a focus on wound and ostomy care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement.
- BLS certification.
- A competitive salary of $47.87 per hour.
