Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Tech

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Tech to join our team at a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital. As a Travel Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures in a vascular setting.

Job Summary:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures in a vascular setting
  • Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an ultrasound tech
  • ARRT (S) or (VS), or ARDMS (Registered Vascular Technologist) (RVT), or CCI (RVS) certification
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and on-call
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records

About the Facility:

The facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 total staffed beds. The scrub color is teal top and black bottom, and charting is preferred using EPIC. The facility is located within a 60-mile radius, and locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or existing assignment during the season.
