About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Philips North America. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development of industry-leading sleep diagnostic and therapy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in the discovery, adaptation, and integration of new and existing technologies to create innovative, reliable, and quality product designs.
  • Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to successfully interact and provide technical expertise in the development and design of analog sensor conditioning circuits, microprocessor systems, and electrical/electronic interfacing systems.
  • Design, analyze, and test circuits and overall systems to meet project requirements, regulatory safety requirements, EMC requirements, quality requirements, and internal hazards requirements.
  • Conduct design reviews and interact with peer engineers, procurement, manufacturing, marketing, sustaining, contract manufacturers, vendors, and other technology leaders to achieve project and product objectives for safety, performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, quality, and time to market.
  • Participate in periodic review meetings to present ideas, concepts, feasibility units, results, and status.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, MS-Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years' demonstrated experience in Electrical Design (analog/digital) in a regulated product environment (FDA/IEC/ISO/UL/AS etc..).
  • Experience in the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic products.
  • Experience in the analysis of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout, processing, and testing techniques.
  • Experience creating, interpreting, and modifying schematic drawings.
