Job Title: Tagalog Translator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tagalog Translator to join our team at Manpower Las Vegas. As a Tagalog Translator, you will be responsible for translating complex documents and public communications from English into Tagalog.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex documents, including contracts, agreements, and court documents, from English into Tagalog.

• Ensure that translated documents accurately convey the original meaning and tone, while maintaining the legal validity and cultural appropriateness of the content.

• Collaborate with legal and communication teams to understand the context and requirements of each translation project.

• Conduct research on industry-specific terminology and legal concepts to ensure accuracy and consistency in translations.

• Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.

• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure translations meet their needs and expectations.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal terminology and translation best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.

• Certification from a professional translator's association (e.g., ATA certification) preferred.

• Fluency in both English and Tagalog, with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both languages.

• Proven experience in translating complex legal documents and public communications.

• Familiarity with translation software and tools.

• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of legal terminology and concepts.

• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the target audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a legal or communication environment.

• Advanced degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.

• Specialization in a specific area of law (e.g., corporate law, intellectual property law).

• Experience with translation memory tools and project management software.
