Proton Dosimetrist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Proton Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at a brand new Proton center in Illinois. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing treatment planning dose distributions and calculations for external beams and brachytherapy, including 3-D planning, IMRT, seed implants, and supervision of CT simulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans as defined by protocols
  • Interpret criteria and develop treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Dosimetry
  • 2 years of experience in treatment planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable in radiation physics and safety
  • High critical thinking and problem-solving skills
