- Current Dental Hygienist License: Hold a current license to practice as a dental hygienist in Kentucky.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree: Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient communication.
- CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification.
- New Graduates and Seasoned Hygienists: We welcome both new graduates and seasoned hygienists to apply.
- Experience with Velscope and Diagnodent: Possess experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to Learn and Grow: Demonstrate a desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet the needs of our patients.
- Ability to Perform Essential Duties: Possess the ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
- Lifting and Carrying: Be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Virtual Training Sessions: Be available to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
At Sterling Family Dental Care, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for both our team members and patients. As part of our commitment, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
