Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Waste Connections in Warsaw, Indiana.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems on our fleet of trucks and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on suspension, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNG, diesel, and gasoline trucks, including front-end loaders, roll-off, and rear-load vehicles.
  • Read and interpret vehicle condition reports and repair orders.
  • Complete electronic repair orders and document parts usage.
  • Make emergency road calls to repair trucks.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
