Job Summary:
The Night Nurse Supervisor will be instrumental in managing operations of their assigned unit, ensuring residents receive high-quality care by supervising clinical staff, providing guidance and education, instilling a positive facility culture, maintaining infection prevention practices, and ensuring adequate staffing. This role requires a minimum of an unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification, and two years of R.N. experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit and five years of R.N. experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage the activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit
* Provide guidance and education to clinical staff to enhance resident care and improve operational efficiency
* Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive facility culture
* Ensure established infection prevention practices are maintained to protect residents and staff from potential health risks
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure adequate staffing levels and coordinate care delivery to meet resident needs
