The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients across all age groups within our 20-bed facility. The RN is tasked with evaluating and managing patients experiencing critical injuries, traumas, and various medical emergencies, adhering to established standards of emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Conduct thorough assessments and implement appropriate interventions for patients in emergency situations.
- Maintain high standards of care in alignment with the hospital's mission and values.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in acute care is preferred, with a focus on Emergency Room settings.
- Current Massachusetts RN license and BCLS certification are required; BSN is preferred.
- ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications must be obtained within six weeks of hire.
