Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Lead X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging
- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
- Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
- Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow
- Attend staff and departmental meetings
- Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
- Propose improvements to processes and workflows
- Work autonomously within established procedures and practices
About You:
- Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience
- May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
- Licensure/Certifications: Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency, CRT certificate, CPR- BLS
