Job Title: District Sales SpecialistJob Summary

Agriland FS is seeking a highly motivated and organized District Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving profitable seed and trait sales growth, interacting with key seed customers and prospects, and developing and training crop specialists on seed selling techniques and product information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the seed business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key seed customers and prospects
  • Conduct sales calls and targeted grower meetings with crop specialists to promote seed products
  • Develop and deliver training programs to crop specialists on seed selling techniques and product information
  • Collaborate with the procurement manager and supply administration personnel to advise and coordinate ordering for each location
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture
  • Working knowledge of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products
  • Knowledge of market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecasts
  • Skilled in sales leadership, closing techniques, and working in a team-oriented environment
  • Professional communication, time management, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to travel overnight, on a limited basis
  • Able to lift seed bags up to 70 pounds
