Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in a Labor and Delivery setting. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assess and Monitor Patients: Assess and monitor patients throughout the labor process, identifying any complications or concerns.
- Provide Labor Support: Provide emotional and physical support to patients during labor, including monitoring contractions and helping patients with breathing techniques.
- Administer Medications: Administer pain medication and other medications as ordered by the physician.
- Perform Phlebotomy and IV Skills: Perform phlebotomy and IV skills as needed.
- Monitor Fetal Heart Rate: Monitor fetal heart rate and report any concerns to the physician.
- Assist with Deliveries: Assist with deliveries, including C-sections, and provide care to newborns.
- Maintain Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs and medication administration.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Nursing License: Must have a current nursing license in good standing.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery: Must have a minimum of one year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certifications: Must have certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
