Job DescriptionWorld Synergy Enterprises Inc. is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Dispatch Technician to join our Technology Team. As a Helpdesk Dispatch Technician, you will be responsible for providing end-users with a predictable, caring connection point for support requests. Your primary goal will be to understand, qualify, and document incoming support requests, manage expectations of end-users by clearly communicating "next steps" throughout troubleshooting, and provide Tier 1 support to end-users for daily, reactive support requests. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting server issues, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows Server, DNS, SQL, Active Directory, and IIS, as well as basic networking issues, including but not limited to firewalls, switches, and printers. You will clearly document support activity and escalate as needed to next Tier support, communicate status of escalated requests to next Tier support, and maintain internal Knowledge Bases to efficiently resolve recurring requests. You will continually seek ways to improve processes in order to give users world-class support. Requirements include a love of talking to people and helping folks in need, excitement to grow your career, and proficiency in O365, troubleshooting malware removal, understanding how to qualify a problem, basic business application installs, PC speed improvements, server applications, networking equipment, VMWare or equivalent, and firewall experience a plus.
