We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at DuPage County ROE. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing support services to students in a student-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech and language services to students with varying needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless support services.
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Hold or be eligible for an Illinois Professional Educator License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Demonstrates excellence in verbal and written communications.
- Experience with collaborative groups and processes in a student-centered environment.
Potential placements include an Early Childhood Center, Elementary School, or Middle School. Some traveling between buildings may be required depending on the position. Working with students and staff in a Structured Autism classroom may be required depending on the position.
