Job Description:


As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including tasks such as filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.


Our Pharmacy Technician positions offer a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and service.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including tasks such as filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and prescription data.
  • Process transactions, including cash, credit, and insurance claims.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.


Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
