Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our 8100 Family Practice Unit, a high-acuity Neuro/Cardiac Telemetry Unit that admits a wide variety of patients, including those in the secondary stroke unit.
As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support. Your primary duties will include providing direct nursing care, participating in a residency core curriculum, establishing and/or revising priorities for patient care, responding to data indicating risk to patients' health, and documenting in patients' medical records.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited school of professional nursing, current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, and either new graduate RN experience or less than one year of RN work experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is also preferred.
