About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restoration Estimator to join our team at GPAC. As a Restoration Estimator, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver exceptional services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Development: Establish and maintain relationships with local area clients, including insurance adjusters, community business owners, schools, and municipalities.
  • Estimating and Planning: Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch, develop and adhere to acceptable budgets, and address overages as they present themselves.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable building codes, source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents, and deodorization techniques.
  • Project Management: Maintain a construction schedule, work with trades and management to ensure work is completed on time, and identify and present solutions when additional resources are needed.
  • Training and Development: Participate in continued training with the company, including basic Xactimate training and certification.
  • Independence and Accountability: Independently manage your work, maintain vehicle safety and maintenance inspections, and ensure vehicles are in a clean and serviceable condition.
  • Reporting and Communication: Complete all accident, injury, and incident reporting forms in a timely manner, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: Restoration construction experience is required.
  • Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field being an asset.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer software, including Xactimate, is required.
  • Certifications: IICRC certifications are highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well with others and maintain professional interactions with coworkers and vendors.
