Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

KIPP St. Louis Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to work with our students with communication disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing IEP goals, conducting assessments, and providing individualized therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement IEP goals for speech and language students
  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations as required by federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Develop and implement therapy plans, hold parent conferences, staff consultations, and classroom observations
  • Consult and collaborate with members of students' teams to monitor academic progress and design/implement IEP accommodations/modifications
  • Maintain an individual folder for each student that contains all forms required by federal and state mandates
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology required
  • Missouri Speech and Language Pathology License required for the position
  • Experience in pediatrics/school-based speech and language therapy strongly preferred
  • Dedication to helping children grow and learn
  • A passion for working with students from underserved communities
