Job Overview:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of the property, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow established maintenance and emergency procedures, adhering to company policies.
- Keep property grounds and communal spaces clean and free from litter.
- Complete service requests for readying units efficiently and safely.
- Conduct inspections of the property, removing trash and reporting any safety concerns or necessary repairs to the Lead Maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness in the leasing office, model units, clubhouse, and other shared areas.
- Ensure walkways, entryways, and hallways are tidy and presentable.
- Prepare model tour routes to be free of debris.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and visitors.
- Manage supply levels required for the role by coordinating with the Lead Maintenance.
- Comply with all training requirements associated with this position.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor that are not listed as essential functions.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing for extended periods and performing various physical activities, including:
- Bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.
- Climbing stairs and working at heights.
- Moving equipment and supplies, which may involve lifting heavy items.
Vision and Hearing Requirements:
Must be able to observe areas needing attention and respond to verbal instructions from management.
Driving Requirements:
Occasional use of personal transportation may be necessary for picking up supplies.
Work Environment:
This role involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, often for extended periods.
Qualifications:
Skills: Strong organizational and customer service skills are essential. The ability to interact professionally with co-workers and residents is required.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or maintenance within the property management sector is advantageous.
