The salary for this position is estimated to be between $72,900 and $91,300 per year, based on education and experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant II to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate presentation of financial records by providing accounting support and preparing complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly close responsibilities, including journal entries, variance analysis, account reconciliations, and management inquiries.">
• Prepare higher-level ad-hoc reports and analysis as assigned by management.">
• Assist business partners with more complex issues or functional areas within Ace requiring additional attention.">
• Lead or assist on projects designed to improve accounting efficiency or drive higher quality deliverables.">
• Manage resources to ensure project goals are met on a timely basis.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.">
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a financial/accounting capacity.">
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data mining skills.">
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.">
• Intermediate project management skills.">
• Ability to work with some supervision.">
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.">
• Ability to successfully interact with management throughout the organization.">
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level.">
• SAP or equivalent ERP system experience preferred.">
