Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Critical Care Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. As an RN-PCU, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

About the Role:

  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring vital signs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with families and caregivers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current RN license in good standing2+ years of experience as a registered nurse in a critical care or progressive care settingAdvanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 monthsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
